At its first developer conference, OpenAI announced several new products and features leveraging its generative AI models like GPT-4 and ChatGPT. These include GPTs, which allow anyone to easily build custom AI models for specific tasks; a GPT Store for obtaining models built by others; a Copyright Shield to defend customers; fine-tuning services for GPT-4; custom enterprise models; UI updates for ChatGPT; expanding GPT-4's knowledge and capabilities; an Assistant API for plugging AI functions into apps; new models like GPT-3.5 Turbo; and price cuts.

Key highlights are the ability to now create customized AI models more easily, integration of generative AI into more apps via the Assistant API, upgrades to GPT-4 like handling images and longer context, and reduced pricing.
